Haverlands Fantasia

The sports horse young stock class held at the Royal Highland Show featured a few spot Appaloosa this year.
Owned by Alicyn and based in Perthshire this grade B filly bred by Haverlands Stud, enjoyed her outing and behaved impeccably.
2007 Western High Point Appaloosa Champion

Having been a farmer and a successful show-jumper in the UK, Alistair took a few years out for ranch work in Canada and USA where he got his start
in rodeos and western riding. Moving back to the UK and the show-jumping he never forgot the western way and eventually bought and trained up his first Appaloosa mare, Fantasia.
Over the years he has won numerous rosettes and trophy's. The opportunity to buy Chance (Mannog Starman), arose in 2006 when Alistair and his wife, Sharon, were collecting two mares from stud.
At a nearby livery yard a change of circumstance for Chance's owner meant she could no longer keep him and a mutual friend thought he could be of interest.
Although they had no plans for more animals, Alistair and Sharon returned home with their two mares and Chance (and two cats!!) Despite being only lightly broken to English,
Alistair saw potential in the young horse and worked diligently with him to forge a winning partnership at WES and Appaloosa shows.
The time and effort invested in Chance was greatly rewarded when their success in 2007 culminated in Alistair and his horse travelling to Aachen, Germany for
The European Appaloosa Championships where, against numerous entries and very strong competition, they achieved 4th in Mens Pleasure and 6th in the Open Jackpot!

Very sadly Oor Vision of Misschief was put to sleep at 19 days old, she was diagnosed with kidney failure and could not be saved.

Myriad Beeline

- Heather Borderie bought Beeline as a 2 year old in 1993 & they have been through a lot together
- He is a great ambassador for the Appaloosa breed, he can be brought in to work after any amount of time off and doesn't bat an eye lid at anything. He is often ridden by Heather's friend, novice rider and he ALWAYS looks after her when they are out hacking.
- Heather claims she was slightly bullied by us last year --- surely not??!!!!!! to go to some shows
- Beeline was brought out of retirement and was 2nd in the Inhand at Angus show but had a bit of a rodeo in the ridden due to a fault in the saddle.
- At the Scottish Championships Heather & Beeline excelled themselves and were first in both the inhand and ridden
- Beeline was also Reserve ridden champion of the whole show.
- Heather likes the friendliness of shows and catching up with old friends both humans and people!
- Heather claims to be busy with her new job as the Secretary of the Shetland Pony Society and with her family but we hope she'll squeeze in the odd show with the gorgeous Beeline.
- We wish you all the best in your new job Heather and hope to see you out and about if you can manage it.
Can you help??????

There is no malicious intent for wanting to know these details, I am a private owner who’s just desperate to find out what breed her horses are and hopefully who their parents were!
I’d love to know if the parents are registered or if they’re part-bred, etc..
Thank you, thank you, and thank you in anticipation!
